Veterinary anesthesia machines
Dispomed designs and manufactures the Moduflex line of veterinary anesthesia machines at its own Canadian facility. The line covers 15 configurations, including tabletop, mobile and wall-mount units, for patients ranging from laboratory animals such as mice to 300 lb (136 kg).
Every Moduflex unit carries a 5 year warranty and ships with a free start-up kit that includes rebreathing bags, a patient circuit and an 8 foot (2.4 m) oxygen hose.
Designed and built in Canada since 1982
Dispomed was founded in 1982 by Serge LaChapelle, who kept seeing the same problems in veterinary clinics. Machines leaked. Poor design made them awkward to operate. Low quality units cost veterinarians time and money in repairs, and gas leaks put clinic staff at risk. Manufacturing a Canadian made line was the answer, and Dispomed has built its own anesthesia equipment ever since.
Moduflex machines are used today by the majority of veterinary universities across North America and by clinics in more than 35 countries.
