Due to its fixation onto the surgical table, the surgical positioning device maintains patient positioning despite table height or inclination adjustments. The surgical positioning device’s railing system and ‘‘C’’ clamps with cam cleats allow for flexibility in patient positioning. The ropes are covered with heat-shrink rubber tubing allowing for proper disinfection between procedures. An alternative teeth anchoring system is available for young patients or those without canine teeth. The ‘‘+’’ designates a plethora of other procedures in which this surgical positioning device can assist the small animal surgeon in the operating room.
