Did you know that 96.7% of cats and 83.6% of dogs suffer from hypothermia after procedures requiring anesthesia?
Following a study from Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera directed by Professor José Ignacio Redondo made on 1500 cases, 96.7% of cats and 83.6% of dogs suffered from hypothermia after going under procedures with anesthesia. It is important to prevent hypothermia as it can change the body reaction by affecting the metabolism, cardiovascular function, drug needs and lots of other side effects.
