We find the BOSS stand to be a handy addition to our table to help position patients for palate surgery, vital pulp therapy and for mandibulectomy in sternal recumbency. It provides excellent visualization to the caudal oral cavity and frees up a technician from hours of unnecessary holding and retraction in our lengthy procedures.
We need more super pulsed lasers. We use it on every surgical case, which can be up to 4 or 5 a day. Clients love it because it is non-invasive and we are not using drugs. I couldn’t imagine going back one year and not having this laser in my practice. I would be lost. It does everything and we treat everything with it. It really is a fantastic tool.
I always strongly recommend Dispomed’s Highdent Dental Unit to my colleagues. These units are powerhouses, having two high-speed handpieces makes oral surgery more efficient as I have both cutting and diamond burs instantly on my fingertips. Having both suction and the piezo scaler in the same unit is a huge asset.
