LED Surgery Light - Trolley Mount

The new STARLED3 is based on LED (Light Emitting Diodes) technology and as such offers exceptional performance advantages over conventional halogen lighting, including true cold and white light with long life and superb efficiency.

Cold Light
LED produces a light beam without infrared rays (IR) and therefore without heat, this cold light will not alter the target temperature, also meaning the operator remains cool and unaffected by the light.

White Light
Thanks to the new LED light technology, we have been able to produce an unparalleled quality of light. The light color temperature of 5.500K is comparable to natural sunlight. The color rendering index (CRI) already reaches the excellent value of > 80 and it is destined to reach the value of 100 in short times obtaining in this way the absolute color rendering accuracy. Unlike conventional bulbs, it is also possible to adjust brightness without altering light emission features.

Long Life
LEDs are semiconductors. For this reason they boast an average life of more than 100 times that of normal bulbs.

Efficiency
While the standard halogen bulb starts losing efficiency from its first stage of use, high-powered LEDs have a very linear yield and a negligible performance decrease for their life duration.

Digital
The lamp is completely digital and microprocessor controlled. It is equipped with double controls for light intensity adjustment and visualization. STARLED3 can be used as single, double or triple light combinations. Due to these performance advantages, LEDs will ultimately replace conventional lighting systems over the coming years.
